How many of us say, "Lord, I want to please you and I want to do your will. Have your way in my life," but continue to live a non-victorious, stress-FULL life?

Romans 8:6-8 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (7) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. (8) So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

Yes! That's what it says! So, how are we to please God and do His will if we continue to keep a carnal mind? We can't! As long as we're "carnal" we will NOT be in the Spirit. When you got saved, accepted Christ, He came to live inside you, but still you are carnally minded. Now is that right? Can we be saved and walk in His Spirit if we are walking in the flesh?

Think about it. While you do, let me ask you this one thing: Are you Living For Jesus or stuck in that carnal mind?

Change My Mind

Jan. 28th, 2003

My thoughts take me far away

To places I don't wish to go

I see things that will never happen

Things no one will ever know

Father, take these thoughts from my mind

And fill it with things of You

For I do not wish to think of things

That are not full of Your truth

So make my mind the mind of Christ

That's full of Your holy Word

For any thought that's not of You

Is, simply, just obsurd

(I wrote that poem one morning. Here are some scriptures to go with it)

Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Ephesians 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

2 Timothy 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of fear; but of love, and of power, and of a sound mind.

Matt. 21:22
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

If we have faith and believe that God CAN really do everything, then He WILL! It depends on what you think. You know, life and death are in the tongue. Remember? If we tend to doubt more than have faith, then things are not going to go swell. But if we have faith and speak life, then we better be ready for God to move! Amen?

Times are short yall. Jesus is coming soon! Why are we sitting around waiting? Look at the verse again: And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. Oh, gosh, I could so get up and preach on that verse for real! I just feel it. Woo! Yall, God's Word says ASK IN FAITH AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE. It doesn't say ASK IN FAITH AND WAIT A WHILE, OR MAYBE I WONT GIVE TO YOU AT ALL. I don't care how many of yall think 'oh I'm goin through so much right now in life, but it's okay, I'm suffering for a reason', God does allow things to happen, YES. But do we have to suffer? NO! Oh my, my! MOUNTAIN IN MY LIFE, BE THOU REMOVED IN JESUS' NAME! Yes, God's Word says that too! Lordy lordy.. are yall hearin' me? God's Word does not lie! It does not return unto us void! HIS WORD IS THE TRUTH! And when you KNOW it it will SET YOU FREE! Oh, but don't just know it.. STAND upon it! Receive His promises one by one! Mmm, part of a song just came to mind. Look... I may have to walk through the valley of Death, yeah, I may not be sure of my very next step, no no! But He promised to hold my hand! He promised to help me stand! When the valley's too wide or the river's too high, He promised He would lead me to the other side! His promises light my way, never lead my feet to stray! Living by His Word I will overcome. I'm standing on His promises one by one! AMEN. Woo!

Live by His Word friends. Stand on His promises. Don't let satan feed you lies or contradict and confuse God's Word! God WILL NOT have it! Just BELIEVE and RECEIVE. And if you don't get something you want, Maybe God didn't want you to have it. But let me remind you of something, DO NOT use THAT sentence for deliverance, healing or freedom. GOD WANTS YOU DELIVERED, HEALED AND SET FREE! But He may not want you to have the fancy car or cruise trip. You know what I'm saying? Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. Hallelujah!

Whew! Thank You Lord for putting this inside of me! It's an AWESOME feeling to want to share Your Truth with Your children. Keep me Jesus and fill me up! I want more, more, more! Praise God. Amen. Thank You Lord!

God bless each of you!!!

CHEERFUL SUFFERING

1 Peter 5:10 But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

This verse tells me that we ARE going to go through trials and tribulations. But don't get discouraged and don't think that God isn't there with you as you go through them. God will never leave you nor forsake you, remember? Everything you have gone through in your life.. God knew it would happen. But He didn't do it to be a mean God. It will all strengthen you. You can choose to let your past depress you and keep you down, or choose to use it to help other people who are going through what you went through. Do you think Jesus didn't suffer? Yes, He did. And He did it all for you.

When you go through a trial, rejoice. If you pass, you'll be one trial closer to being used by God in the way He wants to use you. We can't just jump into doing what God has called us to do. We will have trials to strengthen us and build us up.

Romans 5:3-5 And not only that, but we glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perserverance; (4) and perseverance, character; and character, hope. (5) Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

You see? Our tribulations produce perserverance (another word used in the King James Version Bible is experience), and perserverance/experience produces character, like the "character" that God wants us to be in Him. Everything adds up, or builds us up. I like the term "builds us up" because God is building us up so that we can be used.

Back in 1 Peter 5:10 it says that we will suffer a while. Our suffering will perfect us in Christ, establish us in Christ, strengthen us through Christ, and settle us on the firm foundation that God has for us! Would you rather not suffer and be unstable, or suffer for a while and become complete in Christ? I want to suffer and be complete!

Lets look at John 16:33- Jesus said, " These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

Thank You Jesus for doing that for us!! Jesus has overcome the world, in which we have tribulation. He told us to be of good cheer because of that! He didn't say, "... but be depressed and dwell on your suffering..." Nope, He surely did not! So, don't be sad. Be happy that God is trusting you and buliding you up! He has a plan for your life and is only preparing you for it. Trust Him and do not stray because of trials. Keep the faith and be cheerful!

Our Comforter

January 18, 2003

Romans 12:12 "Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;"

Ah, still on the topic of tribulation. This seems to be what God is putting in my spirit and heart.

You know, it says to be continuing instant in prayer, patient in tribulation and we are to rejoice in hope. Well, if we're praying continuously, we WILL be patient in tribulation and we will have reason to rejoice in hope. When we're going through trials, we sometimes (or always) tend to get out of prayer and lose hope. That's when our trials become TRIALS (dreadful, depressing, ect.). But God's Word says it doesn't have to be like that. When we reach out to God in prayer, He comes down and comforts us, gives us patience and restores our hope. And He always will if we continue in prayer and believe He is our comforter throughout all tribulations.

Another scripture--

2 Corinthians 1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

Remember what I said in CHEERFUL SUFFERING: That we can choose to let our suffering depress us and bring us down or we can choose to use it to help other people who are suffering as we are? Well, I came across 2 Cor. 1:4 today and it was just like God was confirming what I had said. Everything you and I go through can be used to help another soul who is hurting like we did/do. Don't keep everything to yourself and let it devour your hope or reason for living. Reach out and help someone that's in your shoes. They need you, and more then likely, you need them. God can use you. Let Him.

Now, this last verse, you all know well...

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Satan, that mean ole thief, came only to steal your joy, kill your hope, and destroy your reason for living (among many other things). Now, we can let satan have victory in our life and let him have everything we own OR we can KICK SATAN'S TUSH and choose to have the victory OURSELVES and live the abundant life that Jesus came for us to have. Is that such a hard decision? Are you really going to let your trials and tribulations devour you? Or are you going to get your focus and start walking in Jesus (the best that you can) daily?

JESUS, JESUS, JESUS, You are ALL that we need. Thank You for being our comfort when we are in need. I know that my suffering's are NOTHING compared to what You went through. Please use me as a vessel so that I can help someone else who is going through what I am going or went through. Speak through me and let me be a light that shines SONshine. I thank You and praise You for guiding my life. Amen.

James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials

John 16:20 "...and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy."

~Walk in faith and victory for the Lord, your God, is with you~

Count it all joy

Each trial you're going through

For He'll take your sorrow

And put joy deep down inside of you

Receive it right now

Do not wait another day

For He could quickly return

Do you wish for Him to see you this way?

For you should be praising

The One Who has saved you

Walking in victory

Giving glory and honor where it's due

Remember dear friend

When you're down to nothing

The Father's in heaven

And He's up to something

So count it all joy

Each trial you're going through

You can give it to the Father

He will put joy deep inside of you

My Father, I adore You more than anything my heart could wish for. I just want You. And, Jesus, my beloved Saviour, everything I am I owe to You.

And everything I have, I give to You, my Lord, the One I live for. I live for You. And all my days are gifts from You. I pray I use them as You want me to. Use them for You.

Teach my heart, heal my soul. Speak to me, voice of God, soft and still inside my heart. Breathe on me, breath of God, fan the flame that's inside me.

I open my life to You. Jesus, you're breath to my soul. You know what I think, what I feel. Jesus, I adore You. You know me through and through. You're the closest to my heart that one could be. I love you with the deepest of my soul. I rest inside your arms and I trust you to lead me on.

~Psalm 116:2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.~

Those words up there are from a few songs, but I just kind of picked out the words that I would talk to God about. (The verse is just something I read today that spoke to me). I guess, deep inside, I'm crying out to God, but it hasn't made it's way passed the surface yet. God has been speaking to me still and showing me His endless love, but I want more. Maybe I'm not allowed to have more yet. But I'm really hungry for Jesus. Sometimes I may not show it, but deep down I am. Things from my past rise up and try to rest inside my head, but my hunger for the Lord rises up over that, amen? There's something I read a while ago. It said something like.. Sorrow looks behind, Worry looks around, and Faith looks forward. I don't know about you, but I don't want to be looking back or around. I want always be looking forward. I'm in a race. I can't be looking behind me to see if my past is trying to catch up with me. And I can't be looking around for worry. It will only make me slow down. But I need to keep my eyes forward on the prize. The prize of moving up in God's call for my life. The prize of seeing Him face to face. The prize of spending eternity with Him. That's what I want. I want to keep running. Jesus, keep me running!

I want each of you to keep running too. Don't give in to the past or worry. Don't give in to anything besides God. Give in to God. He wants you completely. Don't ever forget the endless love He's loving you with.

God bless,

Jody

Examination Time!

2 Corinthians 13: 5-9 01-07-03

13:5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?--unless indeed you are disqualified. (6) But I trust that you will know that we are not disqualified. (7) Now I pray to God that you do no evil, not that we should appear approved, but that you should do what is honorable, though we may seem disqualified. (8) For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. (9) For we are glad when we are weak and you are strong. And this also we pray, that you may be complete.

13:5,6 Examine yourselves implies that they could be disqualified (lose their salvation). The test of our relationship to Christ is the ethical quality of our behavior. But Paul trusts that they are still in the faith. On examination they will see that Jesus Christ is in them. Thus they will know that Paul, who led them to Christ, is not a disqualified apostle.

13:7 Paul might appear to be a failure if the Corinthians, who were the result of his labor, turned from the faith. His concern for them, however, was not based on his desire to appear a success. He wanted them to do what was honorable before God even if he appeared to be disqualified.

13:8 The truth here stands for God's will for humanity. His whole plan of salvation. If we oppose Him, we cannot succeed; we only harm ourselves.

13:9 Paul is glad to appear weak and to suffer rejection if through his weakness God's power makes the Corinthians strong. He wants their Christlikeness to be entire. be made complete: This completion, or perfection, of the soul implies its purification and placing every faculty, passion, and appetite in its proper place; the original order, harmony, unity, and purity of the soul is thus restored and the whole person is built up to be a dwelling-place of God through the Spirit.

You know, I got saved around the same time I began talking as a child, probably. I was in church since I was 2 days old, up until the mid-end of 2002. Most of you know that from '99 to '02 I was living in darkness, doing stupid things, and still attending church to "make an appearance". For the last four years my eyes were covered and I was no longer living in light. Satan was determined to devour my life and I am almost certain that I had lost my salvation.

With the help of many Christ-like people online (and off), I began to open up. Day by day I was ministered to. Most of the time I accepted what I was told, but sometimes I rejected it and argued, defending the ruler of this world. Now why would a "Christian" defend the one who's trying to destroy their life? That was a very tough conclusion.

September 8th, 2002, I made a decision to go and spend a month with one of my spiritual mentors whom I had met online. Might I remind you that today (the day I'm writing this) is January 7th, 2003? I didn't really know why I was going to Kentucky. In my mind, I was going because I wanted to meet an internet friend. Friend, did God have other plans! Tomorrow will be my 4th month here in KY and, oh, what it has done for me! I have completely given God my life. I am happy beyond words and God has been showing me so much. Choosing God- choosing Life- is the best decision EVER. I thank God that Regina .B. welcomed me into her home and that she's obeying God to the fullest, to minister to me. Somewhat like a spiritual "boot camp", this place has done awesome things for me. Thank You Jesus for Your obedient people! I will never be the same again.

I urge each of you to Examine your own hearts and ask God to remove all that is unclean. If you're saved but not living like it... GET SAVED. Give your all to Him. Satan does not deserve ANY part of you! Please, Get Right and Live For God Completely.

God bless each of you beyond measure!

~Blessings and love to Regina .B. and each one that has ever talked to me~

Matthew 19:16-30

16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

27 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?

28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my names sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

30 But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

Some people think that salvation can be achieved by good deeds. To have eternal life is to enter into life, to enter the kingdom of heaven and to be saved.

In verse 17 Jesus says that no one is good but God. Jesus was not admitting sinfulness. He was rejecting the idea that some people think they can earn salvation by doing good. Salvation is based on God's goodness, not ours. Nevertheless, we do not find eternal life unless we keep the commandments.

The six commandments mentioned in verses 18 and 19 deal with our relationships to each other. Except for the last one, it is fairly easy to see if they are being kept in an outward sense.

In verse 20, the young man asked, "What do I still lack?" Jesus helped him to see that something more than outward appearance is necessary. And that goes for us too!

We are to be complete, having the business finished, and all the hindrances to thy salvation removed. We must give to God the complete loyalty demanded by the Ten Commandments. For every seeker it means giving up whatever is loved more than God. To be perfect in this sense means to be ready to give up what we love most if Christ asks for it. Is there anything in your life hindering you from God? Is there anything, great or small, that you love more than God, in other words, have you made an idol above Him? Think about it. It could be the simplest thing.

Because Christ asked so much from this young man, he walked away sorrowful because he had many great possesions that he did not want to give up. But in another sense all who turn away from Christ's call, live to regret that decision.

A rich man who loves his riches more than God can no more enter God's kingdom than a camel can pass through the eye of a needle. But if the man turns to God, accepting God's complete lordship over his riches, he will find that salvation is not only possible, but also wonderfully rewarding. (If you want what God wants, you can have what you want)

There will be rewards for all who faithfully follow Christ, but those rewards will be based on God's graciousness, not on human merit. Whatever we may experience for Jesus' sake will be worth it all when we see Him.

God's rewards are not earned by the time we serve or the energy we expend. They are His gracious gifts to all who follow Him faithfully.

I don't know about you, but when I read all of this and wrote it, it touched base in my heart. I'm not sure if I LOVE something more than God, but if there is anything, I pray that He shows me so I can have it removed! I don't want anything to keep me from God. He is my Morning and He is my Evening, and my Inbetween!

You know, this message (or study) can really go a long ways. The simplest thing can hinder us from God. If we are going through a trial and we begin to dwell on it rather than give it to God, THAT'S putting our trial above Him. Why do we hang on to trials or problems? Is God not great enough to take it? Does He not care enough? NO. It's US. We need to get over ourselves and quit dwelling on the things we can see and start looking for the things we can't see! After all, what is faith? So if you're letting your trial or problem sneak in before God, tell it to move out of your way! God is FIRST! Get thee behind me satan!

God bless you all abundantly!

Jody

Leviticus 19:4 "Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God."

1 John 5:21 "Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen."

Lord, I will bow to You, to no other god, but You alone. Lord, I will worship You, nothing hands have made, but You alone. I will lay down my idols and thrones I have made; all that has taken my heart. Lord, I will bow to You, to no other god, but You alone. (By Hosanna Music)

Lord, I come before Your throne this moment for each and every person that reads this. I ask that You let them search their hearts, right now, for anything that is keeping them from You. Give them a desire to serve You completely. Let them choose You, Lord, to spend time with each morning, afternoon and evening. Touch their hearts in a way that will draw them closer to You. Just give them a desire for you, Jesus. Be the Lord of their life forever. I thank You for being my God and the One I live for. I praise You for your many blessings and the call you have on my life. Use me in any way that you see fit. I am making myself available to You, God. And I pray that each one reading this is available to You. Give them that deep desire to do Your will to the fullest. Bless them beyond comprehension. Thank You Jesus. Amen.

Praise God. I know this message is different and not as long but, this is what came from my heart today. I hope it blesses you and/or gives you something to think about.

God bless each of you beyond measure!

I don't think I've really told any of you this, but for some time I have been longing to hear from God. I don't mean like, just hear from Him. I mean HEAR from Him like, Him actually talk to me and I know it's Him. Cause, lately, I've been getting confused on whether or not I'm hearing from God or satan.

Well, today I got a book in the mail that I had ordered a few weeks ago. It's about prayer. I went to my room to read a couple chapters of it and then I was going to come back to the computer and do some things. I was walking out of my room and I stopped dead in my tracks before I could get out the door. I heard a voice say, " Jody, pray to me." I thought about it for a minute and then proceeded to leave my room. Again, I heard that same voice say, "Jody, pray to me." I said, "Okay God" and layed on my bed and started talking to God. As soon as I began, I heard a song coming from Regina's bedroom. It was the one, When I Call On Jesus, by Nicole .C. Mullen. I began to cry cause that's exactly what I was doing. Then that song went off and I begin to hear the song Come Unto Me by that same artist. I continued crying. God was touching my heart.

After a few minutes, the tears began to dry and I got up to come back in here to do some things on the computer. Did you guess? Yes, God stopped me, this time, before I could even stand up. I sat on my bed, staring at the wall. I heard these words, " Stay with me. Don't go yet. Please stay with me." I started crying harder than before. I said, "Okay Lord. I will. I'm sorry for wanting to go." He told me, " It's okay. I love you." I told Him I loved Him too. And I was talking out loud to Him, like He was standing in front of me. That's what it felt like. I know He was there.

I continued sitting there, crying. I finally spoke up and said, "Lord, how come everything is the way it is? How come I'm so confused sometimes and don't know what to do?" "Jody," He said " Everything will be okay. Don't worry about anything. I love you." I just cried and said, "Okay. I'm sorry for doubting." "It's okay. Don't worry about it," He said "I love you." And, again, I told Him I loved Him too. He put me at peace and warmed my heart.

I did tell and ask Him one other thing. And this I must share also. I said, "Lord, when I go back to the other room, I want to tell Your people something for you. What do you want me to tell them?" <slight pause> He answered, "Jody, there are so many of My people who are hurting. A lot of them come to me and pray, but they don't wait for me to speak to them. I want to answer them. They need to be silent and listen to my voice. Let my people know that I am listening and I will answer. And I love them."

Matthew 11:28-30 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

He loves each of you endlessly. He really does. And He wants you to go to Him, be silent, and listen.

Psalm 4: 3, 4 But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself him who is godly; The Lord will hear when I call to Him. 2 Be angry, and do not sin, Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still.

Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God...

Make an appointment with Lord and don't miss it! He will be waiting. Be still and let Him touch your heart. He will speak to you!

God bless each of you!

Baby Angel

When a baby starts to learn to walk, they don't just get up and start running. No, they fall and stumble too. And yes, sometimes they sit there and cry but, does it last? Do they sit there for years whining, thinking, oh there is nothing I can do anymore? Nope, they sure don't! They get right back up and try again. They keep trying and, before you know it, they're walking! They keep doing it too!

Hmm, what about us? Because we're older, do we have the right, when we fall, to just sit there? I think not. If babies have enough sense to get up and try again, don't we? Where's your faith people? Is it on the ground just sitting next to you, or is it in the Word?

Think about it! It is SO easy to stumble and dwell in the "pity hole". But it is SO worth it to Praise God and have the Victory!!

What are you going to do???

Something that's really been bugging me is, how can a Christian call themselves a Christian and still live as though they never got saved? What is Salvation for? Is it okay to get saved- ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins- yet still continue to live in sin?

Revelation 22: 14, 15 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. (15) But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolators, and whoever loves and practices a lie.

WOW. Now you tell me if we can be like it says in verse 15 and STILL walk through those gates. I'm thinking not. We are either saved or we are not saved. We either serve God or we serve Satan. There is no inbetween. The Bible says if we are lukewarm, He (God) will vomit us out of his mouth. I want to go to heaven! And you know what? I want EACH of YOU to go there as well!

In John 8:11 it says Jesus will not condemn us. He says to go and sin no more. Jesus didn't die on that old rugged cross for nothing. He died to save us from our sins and from eternal torment. Yes, God gave us a free will to choose where we want to go, but don't give your life to Christ and still walk in the ways of the deceiver. The Bible also says to turn from your wicked ways. When we get saved, our old life dies and we are made new. We are to continue to grow in Christ- seek His will for our lives, renew our minds, read His Word, ect. Surrender it ALL and LIVE for HIM.

God is looking for the true worshippers- the ones who are truly after His heart. He's watching you. Forget the ways and lies of the deceiver! Forget the "I'll serve God today but not tomorrow" games! You are either FOR God or AGAINST Him. It's that simple!

Choose THIS day whom you will serve. Don't wait until tomorrow or that special Sunday. Jesus may return before then! Choose Eternal Life Today.

There's going to be a neverending party in heaven and YOU'RE invited! Make sure to tell somebody too, cause they're invited as well! :o)

God bless each of you.

We Choose
02-22-03

We choose the suffering

We choose the pain

We choose to live in doubt

To live in fear and shame

We choose the sickness

We choose the disease

We choose to live with this

To not feel at ease

We choose the sadness

We choose the heartache

We choose what we live with

What we will or will not take

It's all about free will, you see

Positiveness or negativity

God gave us a choice to make

To walk in doubt, to walk in faith

Healing is ours and deliverance is too

It's in God's Word and His Word is true

Victory in Jesus or defeat by the Deceiver?

Choose Christ, choose life, be a believer!

Philippians 4:19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

God is our Provider. Not only does He supply all of our physical and natural need, but He supplies our other need too. Every person needs love, joy, peace, understanding, wisdom, healing, deliverance, ect., ect. God provides ALL of that. But in order to receive we must believe and ask. His Word says ask and it shall be given unto you. If you are going through something in life and you want to be free from it, then lift your hands and surrender and ask in faith, believing God will remove it. Then receive your deliverance or healing. If you are in need of something physical like, financial need or something, then lift your hands and ask in faith, believing God will provide. Then begin to praise Him for it. And continue doing so!

God shall supply all your need. He's not going to only supply some. His Word is true and will not return to us void! If God is YOUR Provider, then start letting Him provide those things which you need. Don't sit back and think God doesn't want to deliver or heal you. HE DOES. He's waiting for you to COMPLETELY surrender and give Him your cares. There's freedom for you! There's joy for you! There's healing for you! There's peace for you!

Ask, Believe, Expect, Receive! Amen. God wants to supply all your need!

God bless you.

Genesis 4:7 If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.

The Lord warned Cain: sin lies at the door, an evil power waiting eagerly to take possession of him. God holds us responsible to rule over it. (this was taken from my bible)

Don't think that verse was only for Cain. Nope, it sure wasn't. That warning is for us too. Every time our temper rises and/or we get upset, sin is at the door waiting to overtake us. The thing is, it's up to you on whether or not that sin is going to have power. Like I keep telling some people: The only power Satan has over your life is what YOU give him. That's the truth. Satan can plot against you and have all kinds of new things up his sleeve for you (or he may continue to use the same thing if he knows it will bring you down), but if YOU rule over it, then it wont have any part of your life. You can stand against the wiles of the enemy. You've got the power in the name of Jesus.

Look where Cain's anger led him. In verse 8 Cain didn't conquer his anger, therefore it led to sin which was the death of his brother. Now, I know that maybe if you get mad you're not going to go and kill somebody (even though sometimes you may feel like it!), but our anger or temper fits can lead to sin too.

Ephesians 4:26, 27 Be angry, and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your wrath, 27 nor give place to the devil.

The devil would take advantage of our anger, but the Holy Spirit gives us power to rise above it. Are you going to rise above it or let Satan take advantage???? RISE UP MIGHTY WARRIOR!!

Kick Satan's butt back to hell! Don't let him drag yours there!!

~REJOICE! THIS IS THE DAY THAT THE LORD HAS MADE~

God bless,

Jody

I was in an IM with someone and they were going through a lot at the time. I asked them how they were and they said, "Been better". I said, "Awe, you said that last time. Things still not good?" And they continued on, "No." And I said, "If God can bring you to it, He will take you through it". And they said, "I know." Well, I sat there for a moment and thought about their reply. Then I said, "Well, if you do know the things I've been telling you and everything, then why don't you live it and let it manifest in your life?" And you know what? They said, "I'm going to..I'm going to right NOW" and I got the privelege of praying with them and they received! God's awesome!! Thank You Father for touching their life.

Now see? How many times do we get in that rut of I'm-down-but-I-know-God-will-get-me-through, but kinda stay in it? If God can take you through it then let Him (and He wants to!). Don't continue on in something God intended for you to be delivered from 5 months ago. You know what I'm saying? Don't even start with excuses. No way, I won't buy 'em. You give me an excuse and I'll toss you a scripture. How's that? LOL God ain't up for excuses either. He only loves His children and wants the best for them. Don't take any of Satan's junk. God sent His Son, remember? And because of Christ Jesus WE have authority. Does it say 'Satan has authority over God's children" anywhere in the Bible? NOPE. So why should we have to live a defeated life??? STOP ALLOWING SATAN THE LEAST BIT OF CONTROL IN YOUR LIFE. Live victoriously, God's people!

Victorious Overcomers by choice VS. Defeated Giver-uppers by choice

MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE!!!

James 4:7 Submit to God, resist the devil and he must flee from you!

Hi everyone. This morning at church we sang a song called Keep the Faith and I just knew I HAD to share it with you all. I know some of you need these lyrics that I'm about to type. Please let them bless you. For those of you who are on Paltalk, I may sing the song in Way Of The Cross and/or Light House Ministries For The World one of these days (if you don't have Paltalk you can download it at www.paltalk.com and then log in and go to Groups, then Christianity, then find one of the rooms I mentioned above). And for you, Laura (that goes to my mom and dad's church), I may see if I can sing it out there for yall. :o)

Okay, here's the song...

V1.
When I'm pressed from every side with thoughts warring in my mind
Telling me that You're not there
I can hear my spirit cry don't you dare believe those lies
For the enemy knows that God really cares

Chorus
So continue running toward that mark
And you'll find your victory's not too far away
So trust in the Lord and keep your faith

V2.
When I feel like I'm losing ground and no one seems to be around
I wonder will I survive
But then I hear You speak to me don't give up, you must believe
I am here, you will not die

(and then go read the chorus again)

Every time I sing that song or read the lyrics it touches my heart. It's an awesome song. I just really felt like someone in my email list needed to read that. God bless you all richly.

Love in Christ,
Jody
